Fall Break
Here's just a few pictures from the first day of our trip!
Because of all of the flooding in Bangkok, we changed our plans and ended up staying in Singapore for an extra day. Salatiga seemed very hot until we got on the river boat. It was good to be back in a place with real coffee and air conditioning, even if just for a little while.
After they checked out Singapore, we headed to Chiang Mai a day early. Since we didn't have a tour because we were there earlier than expected, we rented our airport taxi driver, Was, for the day. He drove us to many temples.
We saw many Buddahs...
and many monks...
