We stayed here before Christmas and loved the food as well as the chill atmosphere of the other side of the island. What were some of your favorite restaurants? We found the tropical Christmas decorations (pine tree constructed with Bintang bottles) and carols streaming from seaside tiki bars to be amusing. We enjoyed bike riding around. The horses who pull the carriages would be much happier on better maintained roads, but an island without motor vehicles is a welcome reprieve from the macet on Java, of course.
