Since visiting Penang earlier in the year, I have been dying to go back! Adrienne's birthday seemed like the perfect occasion so we headed out as soon as school was out for the weekend. We rented a motorbike and explored the nooks and crannies of the town. As there are heavy Chinese and Indian influences in Penang's culture, we investigated some local temples to learn more about the people.
We also found a delectable local treat that was a cross between a snow cone and a lollipop, with flavors like rose, lychee, and mango. It was the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Yum!
