School | Sea World

Our current Unit of Inquiry centers around water. To supplement this unit, we all piled in a bus and drove across Jakarta in rush hour to get to Sea World! Not quite the home of Shamu that you probably have in mind, Jakarta's Sea World is a large, cavernous cluster of aquariums that are lit by blacklight.

Holi Water Festival | Jakarta | Indonesia

The Color Run came to Jakarta a few weeks ago but since it sold out quickly, many of our friends from school were unable to go. When we heard about the Holi Water Festival, loosely based on India's Holi Day, we were quick to jump on board. Though it wasn't quite what we expected, it was, in essence, a giant colorful watergun fight, in the rain!
